We are a small Apiary and Family Farm in Schenectady County, New York. We sell local raw unfiltered honey, farm fresh eggs, pure NY Maple syrup, bees wax chapstick and a variety of soaps made with natural farm ingredients.
The Bee Bog Farm is a true family farm. Kris and Steph moved to Princetown in 2020 and not only started a little farm, but they started a little family there.
We believe in providing locally produced, farm fresh products, to our local neighborhood at a reasonable price.
Kris is in charge of the bees and honey production. He worked for several years as a farm hand at the Hand and Hive Apiary in Richmondville, New York. He has recently completed a course in beekeeping from Penn State Extension and is currently an apprentice in the UF/IFAS Master Beekeeper Program from the University of Florida.
Steph is learning the art of beekeeping and will enter into her third season in the apiary. She spends most of her free time making homemade lip balms and soaps from the honey, wax and other natural farm ingredients. She is constantly creating new combinations of scents and flavors to try.
The farm has a flock of chickens that provide a constant supply of fresh laid eggs, which are always available for sale on site. In the near future we will be constructing a hackery and providing chicks and laying hens for sale.
Our farm store is open weekdays from 5 pm – 7 pm and weekend days. We accept cash. credit cards and Venmo. Stop by and meet the chickens, bees and cats.
